Travis does his part - February 7, 2007

An Eight year old young man named Travis Cumbest is doing his part to help in the efforts to raise money for the Seashore Mission UMC. After being a part of the Celebration of the ministry of the Seashore Mission UMC and the release of the CD "All Things New", Travis began his own efforts in helping rebuild the ministry of the Seashore Mission UMC. He began to collect donations from individuals even as he shared the need for the church. To date he has collected and turned in over $136 to help with this cause. He also is coming up with new ideas to help in this effort.
When asked about why he is doing this he said, " I just wanted to give money to the Lord for the church" He also said, " I think that Elizabeth has a good idea of helping Seashore Church so everybody in the church can live their lives and find a new family again."

Travis is a second grade student at East Central Lower Elementary. He enjoys Karate, Basketball, Golf, Tennis and Art. He is also the self- designated President of the Elizabeth Cumbest Fan Club.

Thanks Travis for your witness!
