I loved having you spend the weekend at my Bed & Breakfast in the mountains of Virginia. I hope you and your family found peace and tranquility here. I'm sure the thunderstorm Saturday afternoon brought back memories of Katrina. Your concert at CUMC Sunday morning was amazing and as I sat next to your mother, I could feel the pride and joy she felt as she listened and watched God at work through her daughter. Ijust returned from a mission trip in Miss., where we stayed at Camp St. Paul. Our group was lucky enough to have Elizabeth sing for us and it touched me in so many ways, from just what an incredible girl she is to how can I raise my 2 young children to be as selfLESS as Elizabeth is! To her parents and all of the folks that helped raise her(b/c I know it takes a village), congratulations! What an incredible young lady you have!
ps - our stay at Camp St. Paul was just wonderful and I cannot stop telling folks! See you next year!

Congrats on your song wining. I am from Ohio and my first trip to your lovely part of the contry was the day after Katrina struck. I spent 5 weeks straight. I have been leading mission teams from this part of the country since. I read that you want to go into the law field but I think that God has given you a gift, a gift of composing Christian music. It appears that God has opened a door for you to enter in. To follow in your fathers footsteps, only in song. You must follow your heart, but also follow God's will for you. Only you and He can know what that is, so don't let the world steer you in a direction, follow God's call for you. I would be very interested in meeting you on our next trip, Feb 23 to March 1, 2008. We will be staying at Camp St.Paul in Ocean Springs with Jack and Dee Boreing (UMCOR) Maybe you could have dinner with us (about 60 people) one evening and then sing us a song. May God conitnue to bless you and guide your path. It's very refreshing to see such dedicated youth reaching out to help others.
